Dr. Xizhong Zheng, Assistant Professor of Computer Science and Mathematics, is co-chairing the Seventh International Conference of Computability and Complexity in Analysis held this week, June 21-25, in Zhenjiang, China, bringing together theoretical computer scientists from around the world.

Arcadia University is a co-sponsor of this event alongside several prestigious Chinese universities, including Guizhou University, Jiangsu University, Nanjing University, Peking University, and Sun Yat-Sen University. The CCA conferences are aimed at promoting the study and advancement of the theory of computability and complexity over real-valued data and its application.

Among the papers accepted for the conference was one co-authored by Matthew S. Bauer ’10 and Zheng. Bauer studied with Zheng for three semesters on “On the Weak Computability of Continuous Real Functions.”
