Arcadia University is leveraging its leadership position in global education with a new School of Global Business and a focus on entrepreneurship, sustainable enterprises, and a growing international MBA program.

“Our goal is to prepare business leaders who are global-minded, individuals who will be successful in a growing global market. Our business students must graduate with the confidence and belief that all is possible in a borderless world and that their dreams transcend the confines of one country. The establishment of the School of Global Business is a strategic, mission-driven vision for Arcadia University,” says Dr. Steve O. Michael, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs.

“We respond to the growing need for global vision and expertise,” says Dr. NJ Delener, Founding Dean of the School of Global Business. “We prepare socially responsible decision makers through a comprehensive curriculum and an experiential global learning environment committed to ethical and sustainable business practices. Our curriculum is truly focused on the global economy. From unique introductory courses to advanced electives, our courses are thoroughly global. We offer an M.B.A. with two international experiences, an International M.B.A. in Singapore, and more. Our new strategic plan sets the stage for even more global initiatives. Therefore, naming our newly established school as the School of Global Business aligns with our curriculum and mission.”

The school’s vision is to become recognized as a premier provider of global business education driven by strategic thinking through ethical practices. Its envisioned culture is student-focused, committed to excellence, innovative and entrepreneurial, engaged, collegial and transparent, and outcomes-oriented. The school is committed to upholding values of student success and leadership, student centeredness, global perspective and diversity, faculty excellence and scholarship, and social responsibility and accountability.
