Kay WalkingStick ’59, ’11H
“Onrush of Time,” a print by Kay WalkingStick ’59, ’11H, is featured in Full Spectrum: Prints from the Brandywine Workshop at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The exhibition, on display though Nov. 25, is comprised of work from more than a dozen artists and focuses on the Brandywine Workshop’s commitment to the medium of printmaking in the Philadelphia region.
The exhibition celebrates a gift by the Brandywine Workshop to the Philadelphia Museum of Art in 2009. Full Spectrum explores concepts such as cultural identity and creates a commentary regarding the “pluralistic character of contemporary art.”
Walkingstick received an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters from Arcadia in 2011 for her accomplishments as an artist.
