In recognition of International Day of Peace, Arcadia University’s International Peace and Conflict Resolution program hosts a screening and panel discussion of the documentary film I AM, directed by Tom Shadyac, on Friday, Sept. 21, from 12:30 to 3 p.m. in Stiteler Auditorium, Murphy Hall. A reception will follow.
“We’d like to provide a launch pad for the Arcadia community to critique and ask probing questions of one another around the topic of everyday diplomacy,” says IPCR master’s student Hannah Simon-Girard. “The event should engage its audience in critical thinking from multiple disciplines; allow criticism of as well as connection to the film; and serve as a medium to recognize and honor the International Day of Peace.”
