Students in the Global Connections course The Artist in the Community host a Gallery Opening for their exhibition, The Art of the Syllabus: Global Art, Local Heart, on Thursday, Nov. 29, from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Judith Taylor Gallery in Landman Library. The show, a collection of work created throughout the semester, highlights the collaboration between the class and two local homeless shelters, DePaul House and Hope Gardens. Light refreshments will be served.
