Hop Aboard a Fan Bus to Alvernia to Support Arcadia’s Men’s Basketball Team

The Arcadia University Knights will head to Reading, Pa., on Wednesday, Feb. 20, to take on top-seeded Alvernia University Crusaders in a 2013 MAC Commonwealth Conference semifinal game. The Knights advanced to the semifinals after an 85-83 win over Stevenson University on Feb. 18. Arcadia used an 11-0 run to start the second half, tying the game, before going ahead for good in final minutes. The Knights and Crusaders have met twice this season with Alvernia winning both contests.

Two fan buses will depart from the Taylor Hall parking lot at 5 p.m. and arrive at Alvernia around 6:30 p.m. Buses will depart from the Alvernia Physical Education Center at 10 p.m. (or whenever the game is over). There are 100 free seats available on the buses. Seating is first come, first served. Fans on the bus will receive free pizza courtesy Arcadia University President Carl (Tobey) Oxholm III.
