The Blitz Committee has been hard at work planning this year’s Blitz Carnival, which will take place from 3 to 6 p.m. on Haber Green (rain location: Commons Great Room). Clubs and organizations will be hosting a carnival with games and crafts for the entire Arcadia community to enjoy. Enjoy free food such as ice cream, popcorn, funnel cake, and Chickie’s and Pete’s Crab Fry Truck. There will be a picnic dinner with safari-themed foods. Stuff your favorite safari animals with “stuff-a-plush” or make your own bamboo craft. Ride the mobile zip-line or jump around in the adult-sized moon bounce. Faculty and staff are encouraged to bring their family.
Knight Club invites you to enjoy Summer Knights at 7 p.m. in Stiteler Auditorium. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. This is Knight Club’s 10th year. Come out and support the students who have worked all semester on their routines for this weekend’s performances. Tickets are on sale in advance or at the door.
And the night is not over yet. From 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. you can dance the night away at SPB’s Welcome to the Jungle Dance in the Commons Great Room. If you like all things animal print, then this is the dance for you.

The Student Programming Board’s Woodstock takes place from noon to 7 p.m. on Haber Green (rain location: Kuch Center Gym). Then enjoy the pop sounds of Jackie Tohn of American Idol and Bravo fame. Landon Austin will be sure to get the crowd going with his catchy tunes. Scarletta is not to be missed as you have never heard country quite like this. And finally, the headliner Black Violin will bring the house down with their mix of hip hop, classical, rock, R&B, and pop. While listening to the great music, enjoy a variety of food including pizza, Rita’s Water Ice, Zsa’s Gourmet Ice Cream Truck, and funnel cake. There will also be a jungle obstacle course, moon bounce, make your own street signs, and a photo booth!
