Veronique Mistiaen, Journalism Lecturer, The College of Global Studies, published an article about a peace-building program in Rwanda in The Guardian. The article articulates the efforts of secondary school students in Rwanda in developing the tools to build a peaceful future by learning lessons from the country’s genocide. The program is a joint venture between the UK-based genocide-prevention NGO the Aegis Trust and Rwandan authorities. Read the article.
