When the Rolling Stones played a highly anticipated show in Philadelphia on June 18, members of the choir group known as The Crossing, including Arcadia University choir director Steven Gearhart, had the opportunity of a lifetime. The award-winning group of 24 singers joined the band onstage during “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” and performed for their largest audience to date.
As the Rolling Stones get set for the first of two highly anticipated shows here in Philadelphia Tuesday night, a local choir was busy rehearsing for their big part in the production. The group will join the Stones on stage for one of the group’s most famous songs.
The 24-member choir known as The Crossing has been putting in a lot of practice time leading up to the big show where they’ll some key parts of the band’s hit song “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” which has choir members like Steven Bradshaw pretty excited.
