Bornstein Co-present at Pennsylvania Social Studies Conference

Dr. Jodi  Bornstein, director of urban fieldwork and the equity collaborative in the Department of Curriculum, Cultures and Child/Youth Studies, co-presented a session, “Teaching about DOING: Making social studies real and relevant,” with Dr. Jessica Schocker, social studies methods professor at Penn State Berks, and Jill Beccaris Pescatore, economics professor at Montgomery County Community College, at the Pennsylvania Social Studies Conference on Oct. 18 in Harrisburg, Pa.
