Misher ’88 Founds School for Children with Autism

Karen Misher ’88, associate professor of Art and Design, was featured in a Fox 29 news story about her dream, which is now reality for her sons and other students with autism.

After having a hard time finding the right kindergarten for her six-year-old twins, Misher began to dream of a school where Nathan and Alexander could receive all the support they needed and make friends.

When she couldn’t find the kind of place her sons needed, she decided to create one. Read more.
