Sept. 16: A Dialogue on Crime, Community, and Camaraderie

In the wake of recent high profile shootings of unarmed Black men, the Kappa Omega Zeta chapter of the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority is hosting “Hands Up! Don’t Shoot! – A Town Hall Discussion on Crime, Community, and Camaraderie,” on Tuesday, Sept. 16, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Greater Norristown Police Athletic League (340 Harding Blvd., Norristown, Pa.).

Dr. Doreen Loury, director of Pan African Studies and assistant professor of sociology, anthropology, and criminal justice at Arcadia University, will participate in the dialogue which will bring together community leaders, government officials, and concerned citizens of Montgomery County for an open discussion on crime and police-community relations.
